Not the best of grounds
For the second time this season Paulton travelled to Dilton Marsh, this time for a league match.
To be honest they were not expecting too much with the state of the pitch, but it was also the changing rooms that they were unhappy with. Crampded and dirty and with a single shower that was beyond description about its state of cleanliness.
Whilst warming up various Paulton players were seen to be repairing major divets in the ground that were seriously dangerous to any players health.
The game got under way with boths sides playing scrappy football with no clear chances created.Dilton did however take the lead through a shot that came from the fact that Paulton failed to clear the ball from the area enough. It was not long though before Paulton were back in it.
The game then started to get a little rough with some rather tasty challenges going in by both sides. Paulton went further ahead in the first half which seemed to wind Dilton up even more, this was seen by their arguing with each other, even worse takling which were bordering on dangerous and seemingly trying to cause scuffles with Paulton players at any opportunity.
The second have continued in much the same vain with slight chances from both teams but nothing clear cut.
A victory for Paulton which was probably deserved.
