PAULTON ROVERS 1 v 0 BRIDGWATER TOWN
Radford seals the points for Paulton - Report from Thomas Smith
Rovers returned to winning ways with a slender 1-0 victory over Bridgwater Town to end their home campaign on a positive note.
Having seen their run of 5 successive victories come to an end on Saturday Paulton again looked to be left frustrated as their already relegated visitors performed admirably.
Bridgwater may have been inferior in terms of possession throughout but had the majority of first half chances.
George Kellow and Matt Connick combined effectively, with the former firing his volley over. Before captain Rob Horton was denied by the feet of Andrew Hannah in the hosts goal when a goal seemed the likely outcome.

Kellow then further tested Hannah, as Rovers through Mario Mateus and Ryan Radford failed to find their radar in an uneventful first period.
In a continuation of the opening 45 minutes Kellow looked likely to open the scoring with a neat chip until Hannah clawed it past the post, proving to be vital intervention.
As barely 10 minutes later Paulton broke the deadlock with their first effort on target.
Then the winning goal came with fifteen minutes remaining. A flighted Matt Long free kick from the left was powerfully met by skipper Josh Ford who's header could only be pushed into the crossbar by Ashton Granter, allowing Radford to dispatch the rebound into the open net.
Despite putting 5 past their opponents in the reverse fixture Paulton were unable to add any gloss to the score line, whilst seeing off a late Bridgwater offensive.
